So when can I arrive? Where do I set up camp?
Gates open 12am Friday/Saturday and stay open till 8pm. After 8pm gates will be locked so no entry after this time unless permission is given by an official. The campsite will be open throughout the duration of the festival and is situated in the opposing field to the main arena. No restrictions over access to campsite entry will be in place.
Where do I get a ticket from?
Tickets in the form of a weekend wrist-band can only be purchased on the gate or from Artists personally but attendees most importantly need first be on the guest-list no acceptions. This is an guest-list only event. Sign up to the guest-list via the tickets page of this site or contact Dan at info@curiousyellowrecords.com with names and emails of those wishing to be attend. There is no entry to the main arena with-out a wristband, you will be checked.
How old do I have to be?
This event is open to all ages. Anyone 17 or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult of 21 or more. No alcohol will be served to persons under the age of 18, ID will be required.
Can the Kids come?
YES! Under 12's are FREE! CYW is a friendly family affair. However it is still a music festival and we are not a day-care centre. Anyone under 17 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult (21+).
Is Camping and Car-Parking included in the Ticket Price?
Yes Camping and Parking is Free, but please try to group together to save space in the car park, as we are limited to 800 vehicle spaces. Campsite and Car Park will be clearly sign posted.
Will there be any refreshment and water points outside the main arena?
There will be a number of water points dotted around the campsite and the main arena. Although the only food outlet will be situated in the main arena next to the bar area. Serving all manner of Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner options including a vegetarian option.
Will there be a Medical Support Team?
The CYWeekend staff will be looking out for your safety at all times but there will also be a fully trained first aid team on site situated right next to the main arena entrance. Please notify a member of staff of any medical situations and appropriate action will be taken.
Can I bring my Own Alcohol?
Yes but no alchohol from outside the festival will be allowed in the main arean. STRICTLY NO GLASS! The main bar near to the main-stage will be supplying the festival, all at pub prices, cans included.
Can I bring a BBQ?
No BBQing in the campsite due to health safety & risks, and the same applies to Chinese Lanterns and Fireworks. We're implementing a strict no naked flame rule, although there will be a comfortable fire pit situated between the main arena and campsite. Feel free to bring an acoustic guitar and marshmallows - hey, even sing kumbaya!
Will there be phone charging points?
Given the size of the festival we don't feel it necessary to provide a charging point. Instead, we suggest you bring spare batteries or simply leave your phone at home and unplug yourself from the rest of the world.
When does the music start and finish?
Acoustic & Main stages kick off at midday and Dance stage at 6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All stages continue on 'til late Friday and Saturday. Sunday all amplified sound will cease at 8pm.
Do I need to bring a torch?
As we all know, going to the toilet in the dark can be difficult sometimes - you don't want to end up in a sticky situation! But otherwise the main arena and campsite will be floodlit.
Do I need toilet roll?
It is recommended that you bring toilet roll, but all toilets will be topped up throughout the day, so don't panic!
Will I be safe at this festival?
We hope that no one attending the festival would have the audacity to thieve from some one else but it can happen so please keep your belongings close to you and make sure your tent is securely zipped up when you're not in.
Lost Property?
We will be using the BoxOffice as a lost and found point, please ask a steward if you've lost something and hopefully someone may have handed it in.
Can I bring my Pets?
This year we are employing a No Pets rule.
Drugs Policy?
No Illicit substances will be allowed on site, you may be searched upon entry and if found to possess such substances appropriate action will be taken, including your entry being revoked.
What do I do with my rubbish?
There will be rubbish bins situated around the site. Each guest will be given a black bin bag upon entry free of charge. We will be trying to implement a "Leave No Trace" policy. We understand how festivals work but please try not to make too much mess as our poor staff will have to clean up the aftermath.

Location Disabled Access

Curious Yellow will do our very best to make the event as accessible as possible. The site itself is mostly grass and flat except for the car park access which is tarmacked. We can offer free tickets for carer's, please contact us so we can deal with your needs on a one to one basis.

Ticket Information: Both you and your carer if you have one will need to be on the guest-list same as everyone else but carers are free entry.

Please include the following information when emailing:

  • The name of your carer
  • Date of arrival
  • A brief description of your disability, so we can accommodate (strictly confidential)

You will need to bring a copy of your Blue badge or a copy of your latest entitlement to disability living allowance when you arrive at the festival, to pick up your carer's free ticket.

Camping: As the festival site is very small this year, we will not have a separate disabled camping area but we will make sure that any disabled campers will get a place in the best possible spot for access. Please make one of stewards aware on the day, so that they can assist you as best as possible.

Parking: Anyone with a Blue badge (or similar) can park in the camping area - please make a steward aware on the day.

Facilities: Charging points for electric wheelchairs are available on request. Please contact us in advance via email should this be the case. Medical help is available on site but any specific medical needs should be discussed before a ticket is purchased. Accessible toilets will be positioned near the campsite and out of use for the general public.

Stewards will be there to assist you with any needs you have throughout the weekend. If there are any other questions you have for us regarding disabled access you can contact us at info@curiousyellowrecords.com.

Terms and Conditions

The possession of a wristband shall constitute an acceptance by the holder of the terms and conditions detailed below and imply an undertaking on the part of the holder to observe them.

All conditions on this ticket are to be read together with all other statements and or directives either shown on the ticket or displayed on the premises.

In the event of a breach of contract by the supplier, the supplier shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of the breach which was not reasonably foreseeable by the supplier at the date of this contract.

The promoter or their representatives reserve the right to refuse admission to the holder if in the reasonable opinion of the promoter or their representatives admission of the holder to the venue might be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or the holder and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the concert, for example if the holder appears to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs and/or is acting aggressively.

  • Strictly no illegal substances, Persons entering the site may be searched by security.
  • No cars or other vehicles will be admitted to the car park without driver possessing a ticket.
  • No glass bottles or containers are permitted within the main arena.
  • In the event of inclement weather wear warm waterproof clothing.
  • Please use bin bags provided.
  • No animals will be admitted to the site, except guide dogs for the blind or hearing dogs.
  • No unauthorised sound systems are permitted on site.
  • Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
  • If you look under 21 please do not be offended if we ask you for proof of age when you buy alcohol. Please bring proof of ID to show you are over 18.
  • Strictly no trading is allowed inside the arena, without prior permission.
  • No Fires except the designated pit are permitted. Camping stoves must be raised off the ground.
  • The land surrounding the festival is private property and trespassers could be prosecuted.
  • Whilst every effort is made to ensure the full, advertised bill performs, this ticket is for an event and not a specific artist/band. We reserve the right to change the bill or running times without prior notice.
  • In the event of cancellation of the festival by the festival management, their responsibility for refund is limited to the face value of the ticket only.
  • Under no circumstances will duplicate tickets be issued for lost tickets etc. Keep your tickets safe!
  • This ticket remains the property of Curious Yellow Records LTD until payment has been received in full.
  • Ticket holders consent to photography and filming/sound recording of the event as members of the audience, which may be used for promotional purposes.
  • Tickets cannot be resold.

Please note the restricted capacities within the tented structures. Once they reach maximum capacities there will be no further admissions. You are not guaranteed admission to these areas.

It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces, please observe the signage around the festival site.

The organiser reserves the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the festival site.
